.....I am standing on the top of Foia peering at the Atlantic
winking away at me in the misty distance. I am feeling smug because I
achieved this on foot without the aid of oxygen, ice pick or funicular
and I am the perfect sloth! ...My time? I neither know not nor care and
don't ask me again. It is flexibility that matters and this holiday was
just perfect.
Alan Bestic,The Telegraph UK (travel section) March 21st, 2001
Alan experienced Mountain Top to Cliff Top - Algarve (as a
guest of WorldWalks)
...... the hiking is spectacular! Lining the tracks are wild lavender,
dog roses, honeysuckle, poppies and tall pink spears of fox gloves. One
day we picnic by the banks of the river and watch fat trout float
downstream.....
