Arrival at Porto and overnight in a hotel close to the historical centre
Take the train at 09.15 along the Douro valley to Pinhão. You will be met at the station and after a cup of coffee you will be given your walking notes and a lunch box while your luggage is taken ahead of you. You walk to the Quinta and before dinner you have a guided tour of the winery.
After a leisurely breakfast you walk back to Pinhão with a lunch box along a different trail and at 16.31 you take the train back to Porto where you arrive at 18.50 (plenty of time to catch the 21.15 Ryanair flight to London).
If you feel you need a little longer to fully recharge your batteries or just to enjoy this wonderful area then that is perfectly possible - we have many other beautiful walks to offer you.
