Sunday May 30th - Let's Walk the River Banks
A perfect 2 hour Sunday afternoon walk along the Arade and Odelouca river banks with a short climb for great views down to the coast and up to the Mountains.
14.00 start - meet at the Mira Rio cafe. Drive from the A22 over the bridge into Silves where you turn left. Drive along over the roundabouts, passing the Modelo supermarket then continue for another 4km when you will find the Mira Rio on the left (take care it is on a sharp bend)
Wednesday June 2nd - Let's Walk from Carrapateira
A great walk of 2.5 hours through part of the Natural Park with views to the sea and over the countryside, one climb.
14.00 start meet by the mercado in Carrapateira. Drive along the EN125 to Vila do Bispo and then take the slip road for Aljezur. Follow the road for about 9km when you will arrive at Carrapateira with the mercado and cafes on the right (also parking).
Because of the hot weather our walk programme takes a rest and will resume on Wednesday September 15th!
