Arrival at Pinhao where you will met and taken to your accommodation on a working Quinta which has been tastefully restored,
A circular walk in the Pinhao valley with time for you to catch your breath at Quinta do Portal for a private visit, 16km/10miles
A transfer north for a walk beyond the town of Alijo passing one of the oldest burial sites in Portugal, on your return you have a private tour of the Quinta do Passadouro estate, 12km/7.5miles
An easy walk on the west side of the Pinhao valley visiting several tiny hamlets that are so typical of the region, 12km/7.5miles
Today you walk from the Quinta down to Pinhao for lunch at a local restaurant by the river and then in the afternoon you are treated to a boat trip up the Douro - magical, 13km/8.1miles
A transfer northwest to the town of Sabrosa where you have an easy walk though the countryside in this little visited area to the remains of an iron-age fort, 14km/8.7miles
For your last walk you are taken to Pinhao and you walk back passing through the village of Provosende but once again you can catch your breath while visiting Quinta de las Rosa for a private visit, 13km/8.1miles
Transfer after breakfast to the train station at Pinhao or bus station of Vila Real.
